The article presents scientific and theoretical views on how to increase competitiveness in entities that intend to engage in entrepreneurship or are engaged in entrepreneurial activity. It also presents the ideas and theories put forward to achieve economic efficiency of enterprises, as well as modern technologies for their implementation. In addition, modern approaches to strategic planning, personnel policy, innovations in the organization of business processes, more advanced and effective methods of global evaluation, strategic planning, organizational performance and staff motivation, the degree of achievement of strategic goals, the effectiveness of business plans, the key performance indicators for each employee are closely related to the employee incentive system.
