TEACHING SCIENTIFIC AND PROFESSIONAL SPEECH IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO PHYSICS STUDENTS

The article presents a description of the author's methodology for teaching scientific
monologue speech in a foreign language to students of physics specialties - the relevance of its
development, the conditions for the start of training, the approach, the logic of the distribution of
educational material, as well as the content of the training itself - a detailed description of the skills
formed as a result of the application of this methodology. Teaching scientific and professional speech
in a foreign language to students of non-linguistic (in particular, physics specialties, as we believe,
should begin with the formation of students' ability to formulate a definition of a scientific term,
classify objects or phenomena, compare them with each other and describe each according to the
requirements to scientific speech (both in content and form) and give relevant examples. In
conclusion, the results obtained during the testing of this technique at the Faculty of Physics of
Namangan State University are presented
