THE NUMBER OF EIGENVALUES OF THE DISCRETE SCHRÖDINGER OPERATOR ASSOCIATED TO A SYSTEM OF TWO BOSONS ON A LATTICE

We consider the discrete Schrödinger operators associated to a system of two bosons with an indefinite sign interaction potential with energy on the nearest neighboring sites and with energy on the next neighboring sites on the one-dimensional lattice . We obtain the conditions on the parameters for the operator to have zero, one or two eigenvalues outside the essential spectrum.
