ON THE EXISTENCE OF EIGENVALUES OF THE DISCRETE SCHRÖDINGER OPERATOR

We study the discrete Schrödinger operators associated to a system of two fermions with an indefinite sign interaction potential with energy on the nearest neighbooring sites on the one-dimensional lattice . We obtain the conditions on the parameter for the operator to have zero or one eigenvalue below the essential spectrum.
