In order to physico-chemically justify the preparation of a new type of defoliants
with a complex effect, the interaction of the calcium chlorate tetracarbamide - urea
monoethanolammonium acetate - water system in the temperature range from -41.0°С to -10.0°С was
studied by visual-polythermic method. Based on the obtained data, a polythermal solubility diagram
was created and its projections were built. Secondary and tertiary points were found in the system and
the composition of solid phases was determined. The simple eutonic type of the studied system and the
fact that no new compounds were formed were based on the visual-polythermal method, which allows
for the development of a technology for obtaining a new drug with a complex effect, which contains
physiologically active, nutritious and ethylene-forming components.
