This article analyzes the experience of developed and developing foreign countries in the territorial organization of urbanization processes. In particular, examples from countries such as the United States, Sweden, Germany, France, Japan, and China are used to examine mechanisms for managing urbanization, diversifying settlements, developing transport infrastructure, addressing population density, creating employment opportunities, maintaining ecological balance, and ensuring balanced regional development. Based on the analysis of these experiences, the article proposes advanced approaches that can be applied to effectively organize urbanization and shape regional policy in Uzbekistan. Additionally, recommendations are provided for developing models of urbanization adapted to national conditions.
