This article provides information about the comparison of the proverbs which are considered as a main part of Uzbek and English paremiology in two languages ​​and their place. At the same time, it is aimed at the linguistic analysis of the concept of "labor" in these languages, finding and connecting proverbs in both languages. At the same time, this article aims to conduct a comparative analysis of proverbs in Uzbek and English, where the concept of "labor" is put forward, and to consider the equivalents or alternative versions of proverbs expressed in these languages. This article provides information about the importance of language in society, that is, the field of linguistics, and the naming and description of all other fields through it. The article also compares the worldview from various aspects: it discusses what the perception of it is in different peoples and how this perception was formed. Examples of proverbs reflecting the linguistic view of the world are given and explained.
