This work investigates the magnetic properties of two important minerals - hausmannite (Mn3O4) and rhodonite (MnSiO3) - under high temperature conditions. The purpose of the study is to determine and compare the temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibility of these minerals, as well as to identify the features of their magnetic transitions. Hausmanite and rhodonite are manganese oxides that exhibit a variety of magnetic behaviors. In the course of the research, by the Faraday method we measured the temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility χ(T) of minerals in the temperature range 300-1200 K. Based on the results obtained, it was established that the linear part of the χ-1(T) dependence obeys the Curie-Weiss law. Curie temperatures and magnetic moments corresponding to the chemical formula of minerals were found.
